Privacy and KVKK Notice
This notice explains what data is processed when you use irmaksrckurye.com and the Irmak SRC mobile application, for which purposes and by which methods. It is not a consent form or service contract; activities requiring consent are managed through a separate choice.
Data controller and contact
Irmak SRC is the data controller for its own processing activities on this website and in the mobile application. You may submit privacy requests through the contact channel below.
Scope and data categories
Depending on the feature you use, technical request/security logs, information you voluntarily send through contact channels, optional leaderboard nickname/exam/score data, optional question-report data and your measurement preference may be processed.
Purposes and legal grounds
Data is processed to deliver and secure the service, respond to requests, operate features you explicitly use, meet legal duties, establish or protect rights and—only with consent—measure site usage and advertising conversions. The applicable legal ground is selected from Article 5 of KVKK for each activity; analytics and advertising measurement storage is off by default.
Data stored locally by the mobile app
Nickname, certificate and study preferences, text size, exam results, mistake/Leitner pool, active exam session, courier shift and maintenance records, content cache and reminder choice are stored in the device database. They are not automatically uploaded to Irmak SRC. You can use in-app reset tools, clear app data or uninstall the app.
Location, SOS and notifications
Location is requested only when you choose to add it in an SOS tool. In the mobile app, the link is added to an SMS draft. On the website, using the SOS tool passes the location link to the WhatsApp sharing screen, where WhatsApp/Meta processes it under its own terms. It is not sent to Irmak SRC and there is no background tracking; you may continue without location. Study reminders are scheduled locally only after you enable them.
Leaderboard and reports
Only after you press Submit are the required fields sent over HTTPS to the Irmak SRC Systems Server. You may use a nickname instead of your real name. These actions do not upload your location, contacts, SMS content or local study records.
Cookies and local storage
The site may save your consent choice, Academy sessions and courier-tool records in browser local storage. Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement storage remains disabled unless you accept it. Rejecting does not block core features. Delete irmak_analytics_consent to reopen the choice screen.
Recipients and external services
Google/Firebase infrastructure may support hosting, content and application services, security and consent-based measurement. Where overseas infrastructure is used, transfers are handled under applicable KVKK conditions and safeguards. If you open WhatsApp, YouTube, Google Maps or review links, that provider's terms apply.
Retention and deletion
Local records may remain until you delete them or uninstall the app. Server records are limited to the purpose, mandatory legal periods and applicable limitation periods, then deleted, destroyed or anonymised when the processing condition ends.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of KVKK, you may ask whether and how your data is processed, request access or correction, learn recipients, request deletion where conditions apply, object to qualifying automated outcomes and seek compensation for unlawful processing.
Security, children and updates
Appropriate measures such as HTTPS and access restrictions are used. The app is not directed specifically to children and they are not asked to knowingly submit personal data. This notice is updated when features or legal requirements change.
