Step 1: Check for Your "Joker" Card (Exam-Free SRC)

Before spending thousands on courses and stressing about exams, check the issue date of your driver's license. The government offers a fantastic exemption (exam-free acquisition) right for veteran drivers.

If your Class B, C, D, or E license was issued on or before February 25, 2003, congratulations! You don't need to attend a course or take an exam.

  • How to Get It? Go directly to e-Devlet and type "Muafiyetli SRC Belgesi Başvurusu" (Exempt SRC Certificate Application) into the search bar. The system will verify your license, and you can instantly generate your digital certificate by paying a small document fee.

  • SRC 1 (International): 💡 Expert Tip: If you get the SRC 1 certificate, you also get the domestically valid SRC 2 for free!
  • SRC 2 (Domestic): For those who will drive shared taxis, shuttles, taxis, or buses within Turkey's borders.

🚚 For Freight and Goods Transport:

Previously, after the written exam, candidates were shown 3 traffic/accident videos and asked questions, and most candidates failed at this stage. Now, this video-based exam has been completely canceled. You will only take a single theoretical test.
  • 🎉 Good News 2: The Passing Score Has Been Lowered to 60! While it used to be necessary to score 70 out of 100, the threshold has now been reduced to 60 points. This means you only need to get 24 questions right out of 40 to get your certificate.
  • 🎉 Good News 3: Exam Attempts Increased to 8! Don't worry if you get nervous and don't pass. The number of exam attempts, previously 4, has been increased to 8.

💡 Golden Rule: In SRC exams, wrong answers do not cancel out correct ones, so don't leave any questions blank!
